AAPL: Buying the Dips!

ok

After today, I'm done this this POS. too many sucker plays. Apparently I don't get it... and when I don't I invest/trade another company. Market is down slightly, yet this crap is down almost 15 points. Stock is becoming a f-king joke. Best days must be behind it! Seems like the shorts are correct.

If gap closes partially I am selling calls.

gonna close short calls and roll down to lower strike - call spread repair

basically have condors - put side taking a hit

don't feel too bad, lots of pain here both sides!

A slightly different angle to ponder if you will...

One of the things I distinctly recall about the crash of 08, is that it was preceded by regulation changes more favorable to shorts e.g. removal of certain collars, short uptick rule, etc... A cynic might say the floodgates were opened for short selling hedge funds.

Flash forward today. One catalyst that seems significant to the recent downward pressure in AAPL, IMO, is that the margin requirements were recently (and abruptly) upped from various clearing firms.

Just ratio the upside..Vols pumped enough where you will crush them on any rally

Down to 3x tangible assets. And highly profitable, even at flat revenues.

Seems like a suitable time to get upside exposure.

Quote from Wide Tailz:

Could be another island reversal shaping up, just like 7/26/12. Sure feels like capitulation......

last week, when they had 6% selloff, in the last hour it went down $10 then another $2 in the last second, then another $3 after hours, then another $7 premarket, then another $11 after trading started and only then it reversed
