A reminder of what the left said when Giffords got shot.

Here is what dbgarlands friends down at slate had to offer about the Gifford shooting. Now keep in mind that all Palin did was offer up an obscure map with crosshairs on it, something that has since been done numerous times by multiple democrats. Also Laughner turned out to be a fan of Giffords, and a devoted leftist, something the nuts on the left always denied despite his own friends comments.

After this shooting there was no evidence whatsoever that this guy listened to palin, or the tea party, and no one in the tea party ever called for her shooting, and here is the response we got.

Now we have a case where Al Charlatan has went out in the streets, and said things like "no justice no peace" He has said that cops mowed down michael brown with his hands up despite oberwhelming evidence to the contrary, and people at his marches have chanted "Kill the cops" repeatedly. The perpetrator even said on his page that the shooting was retribution for the 2 so called innocent blacks that got shot.

So what are the odds that the left wing media calls out charlatan when all the evidence points at him, after they tried to pigeon hole palin and the tea party when none of the evidence pointed at them?

Id put it at zero, there is no chance he will be called out, the left wing media is an embarassment, and one really has to be a blind partisan to accept the narrative they pus.

The Tea Party and the Tucson Tragedy

How anti-government, pro-gun, xenophobic populism made the Giffords shooting more likely.
By Jacob Weisberg
See Slate's complete coverage of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting and arrest of Jared Lee Loughner.

Jared Lee Loughner
There's something offensive, as well as pointless, about the politically charged inquiry into what might have been swirling inside the head of Jared Loughner. We hear that the accused shooter read The Communist Manifesto and liked flag-burning videos— good news for the right. Wait—he was a devotee of Ayn Rand and favored the gold standard, so he was a right-winger after all. Some assassinations embody an ideology, however twisted. Based on what we know so far, the Tucson killings look like more like politically tinged schizophrenia.

JACOB WEISBERG

It is appropriate, however, to consider what was swirling outside Loughner's head. To call his crime an attempted assassination is to acknowledge that it appears to have had a political and not merely a personal context. That context wasn't Islamic radicalism, Puerto Rican independence, or anarcho-syndicalism. It was the anti-government, pro-gun, xenophobic populism that flourishes in the dry and angry climate of Arizona. Extremist shouters didn't program Loughner, in some mechanistic way, to shoot Gabrielle Giffords. But the Tea Party movement did make it appreciably more likely that a disturbed person like Loughner would react, would be able to react, and would not be prevented from reacting, in the crazy way he did...........

Salon blames Palin for Laughner despite there being 0 evidence. Eagerly awaiting their attacks on Sharpton.

Watering the tree of liberty
A look back at some of the worst revolutionary rhetoric that's contributed to a culture of political violence

Whether Jared Loughner is a far-left nihilist or a right-wing racist or — as he most likely is — some weird politically incoherent amalgamation of extremist beliefs tinged with paranoia, he wasn’t driven to murder by angry campaign slogans. Steve Kornacki’s right— Loughner was not a Gadsden Flag-wielding Tea Partyer incited to violence by the Twitter messages of Sarah Palin. But he is a product of the culture, and there’s a reason he chose to attack a Democratic congresswoman. There’s a reason why his paranoia was directed at an elected official, the closest representative of what he saw as in illegitimate government. The attempted assassination of a member of Congress seems depressingly like the inevitable conclusion of two years of hysterical revolutionary language suffusing every single domestic political debate.

Left wing Cunt Joan Walsh admits that while there is no evidence tying the tea party to giffords, but she will make the connection anyways.

There’s no evidence tying Loughner to any of the right-wing rhetoric used against Giffords, but it would be crazy not to notice that such rhetoric has already claimed victims, and will almost certainly continue to. I’ll never apologize for suggesting that Bill O’Reilly’s crusade against Dr. George Tiller – and his dozens of segments labeling him “Tiller the Babykiller” – might have created the context in which Tiller was murdered in May 2009. It shocked me watching cable news all day Saturday that almost no one talked about anti-tax nut Joe Stack flying his plane into an Austin IRS building as the Tea Party’s anti-tax crusade took off, or Glenn Beck fan Byron Williams driving into San Francisco locked and loaded to shoot up the obscure left-wing Tides Foundation, which Beck had repeatedly railed against on Fox.

Quite a rant you've got going there. Good to see ol' Judy, though. You always do that when your brain goes into vaporlock.

Sept 2009: census-taker Bill Sparkman found hanged in rural Kentucky. Media speculated it was Tea Party. (He killed himself.)

Feb 2010: Joe Stack flies small plane into an IRS building. Anti-tax TP rhetoric blamed. (He quoted from the Communist Manifesto.)

Feb 2010: Amy Bishop shoots colleagues at University of Alabama faculty meeting. Gun-loving Tea Party suspected. (She was an Obama voter.)

March 2010: John Patrick Bedell shot two Pentagon security. A right-wing extremist, media asked? (A registered Democrat and 9/11 Truther.)

May 2010: massive Times Square car bomb found. Bloomberg speculates it's someone upset about ACA. (Actually, plain vanilla jihadist scum.)

August 2010: Amid GZM debate, Muslim cabbie stabbed in NYC. Media speculates: a RWNJ? (Actually, a Lefty art student off his meds.)

Sept 2010: James Lee takes hostages at Discovery Chan HQ. Media speculates: climate change denier? (An environmentalist who hates humans.)

July 2012: James Holmes shoots up theater in Aurora, CO. Brian Ross suggests he's a TPer on live TV. (Just another unmedicated nutter.)

Aug 2012: Floyd Lee Corkins shoots up @FRCdc based on @SPLCenter's "target list." Media: [crickets]. h/t @JammieWF

April 2013: Tsarnaev bros bomb Boston Marathon. Media suggests RWNJ commemorating "Patriot's Day." (Actually, just more jihadist scum.)

Oct. 2013: Media retroactively blames right wing for JFK assassination. (Actually, LHO was a communist defector.)

Interesting that you start with 2009. What about 2007? Or 2003? 9/11?

Then of course there's the Gulf War. And Joe McCarthy. And the League of Nations.

Jeez.
