Had a 35' double-ender sailboat sitting in a cradle in Ventura California for years in the '90's while working abroad - had a buyer and let her go - kept working abroad - met wife - had a family - "swallowed the anchor" as they say.(laughs) yes.
We learned around ~20 different knots in few days. But, probably, we would be those 19 min vid amateurs too, in any other profession.
(at least in the beginning)

Have great memories - racing catamarans at national level in my youth - cruising the Great Lakes as a kid - lots of sailing out of Santa Barbara - biggest kick I remember were a couple of perfect days sailing E class ice boats at 90mph+ across smooth-as-glass "black" ice..
