A message in a bottle..found my heading.

(laughs) yes.

We learned around ~20 different knots in few days. But, probably, we would be those 19 min vid amateurs too, in any other profession.
(at least in the beginning)

So it never happened ?
Had a 35' double-ender sailboat sitting in a cradle in Ventura California for years in the '90's while working abroad - had a buyer and let her go - kept working abroad - met wife - had a family - "swallowed the anchor" as they say.

Have great memories - racing catamarans at national level in my youth - cruising the Great Lakes as a kid - lots of sailing out of Santa Barbara - biggest kick I remember were a couple of perfect days sailing E class ice boats at 90mph+ across smooth-as-glass "black" ice..

Nice. That's a great reason to try hard as one can, to make it in trading/investing & then ,,to go back into the childhood'' via realizing those goals.

Haha! I just came back from the high country, up around 12K feet; didn't see any moose - they're pretty shy - but there's plenty of elk, and the meadows are starting to bloom. It's just stunning up there.

They're not holding the Mushroom Festival there this year. Dammit. :( I'm an amateur mycologist as well as a life-long mushroom hunter, and was looking forward to it...

I keep thinking about taking the RV out to Washington State - I used to be stationed at Ft. Lewis and loved that area, plus I have some good friends on Bainbridge Island that I haven't seen in ages... but COVID, dammit. So probably not this year.

Hah, no. But I'm familiar with them; in fact, my mobile Internet rig was designed around their recommendations.

To-Hell-U-Ride is for hell bent skiing. Not moose spotting. Come on man.
:D

I like Wolf Creek, myself; they get more snow than any other place in CO. 490 inches average... was over 500 last year. Telluride, Vail, Copper Mountain - all those guys are WAY overpriced because they're so famous.

But you've got to be able to stand the gaff here: all those wussy places are at 8K feet or so, while I'm starting out from 8200'. Wolf Creek is something like 10500' - not for everybody!
