Syke's Penny Stock Millionaire.

His spiel is to beat the penny stock pumpers at their own game. But his calls and shorts were all after the fact. In fact, he's just doing the same thing, using his base to pump up stocks he had already. More than half of the picks were losers and had no business being a stock. You get a 90 day refund but must show trading records showing you tried the suggestions. Needless to say credit card charges don't wait after 30 days.

ET veterans probably know about Timothy Sykes, true. Would like to see it on the list also, as it serves to warn newbies away.

I did trial it (whole payment trial!) , and you'd be amazed how many people other than myself actually fell for it numbering in the hundreds. His presentations were not prepared, he was just pulling stuff out of his arse all the time. While we were all duped into pumping his stocks. One laughable incident was when he got ticked off, where one stock went down because the bogus company got the draw on him faster than he could sell even after his hapless clients had pumped it. quote Sykes alert:

The "next!" part he copied from John Thomas, the mad hedge fund trader, lol.

All his alerts were impossible to short shares of or mostly losers. I had to fight a long email back and forth and show my losses records to finally get a refund from Wealth Insider Alliance.

I did not research enough. The day after I joined, I found out the proof of the previous scamming which he cleverly hid with a bunch of bogus review sites if one did not dig enough. Then I knew it was too late as WIA told me I had 90 days to go to trial it according to their written guarantee.
 
DEFINITELY pay heed to this list. The trading education field is unfortunately dominated by unqualified posers and scam artists. It is regrettable that the NFA, FINRA, the CFTC, the SEC and other orgainizations have not formed a registry or at the very least published a set of standards.

Check references. Speak to clients. Check the NFA website for sanctions and disciplinary action. Does the vendor have any defaults, liens, bankruptcies, felonies, or misdemeanors ? Can you get the vendor's complete name and home address and do a background check ? Do a google search for complaints from clients and former clients - just make sure that the person complaining was indeed a client. Honest educators should be preserved and not painted with the same broad brush as the remaining 90 % of the field.

My 2 cents.
