More knee-jerk hostility as expected.
There is a reason I return to this subject. Why is America different? The flood of post WWII money and opportunity made the USA the easiest place to get rich in the world for a good while, for the largest block of people ever.
Now America is screwed up in unique ways, is it from being spoiled?
"The Boomers, of course, were the only age group to vote for Trump over Clinton, and so it's not at all surprising that he would reward their loyalty with no cuts to Social Security and Medicare but huge cuts to basically everything anyone under the age of thirty should care about (research and development, education, climate change). (btw- in one chapter, Gibney cites to a number of studies that show that Boomers are much more suspicious of science and rationality and much more inclined to trust their feelings than other generations. Trump's budget sure shows it...)
