A few reasons why I am shorting this bounce

If you agree with James Stock that selling "naked" calls on the S&P is low risk then I guess you would also agree that driving 100 MPH past an Elementary School at 3PM is also a prudent strategy, eh?

The guy had no understanding of risk, whatsoever.
I called him on it, so did people like Riskarb, Igor, Vehn, Hello Dollars, Error-404, etc.

The bottomline is that if ET is simply comprised of a bunch of opinions, without any supporting basis or technical analysis or sharing of trading methodology whatsoever, then I am afraid to say that ET then becomes a Yahoo Message Board with a bunch of egotistical morons running off at the mouth, with no idea or understanding of what they are talking about. James Stock and his total lack of understanding of "risk" from selling naked calls is a great example of this.

That's been my point the entire time.

If he has a total lack of understanding, then why are you so chicken to bet him that he has a winning track record of making money many consecutive years? Sounds like a good trader to me.

Bottom line: either bet him that his record isn't real, or shut yer yap! Everything else is just noise. I believe JS, so I don't want to bet him. You obviously don't believe him, so you probably want to make that bet.

Lastly, you make such a total fool of yourself when you say JS doesn't understand risk. If he didn't, how could he make money in both up years AND down years? You is a fool, oh boy, you is a fool. Now stop wasting your breath, if you don't think he understands risk, then his record isn't real, so the bet is easy money for YOU!

You also believe that James Stock did in fact meet-up with Riskarb on Feb. 6th, 2004 at 6PM on the Northwest corner of LaSalle and Eugenie to compare trading records, and I indicated that he was a no show.

Feel free to PM Riskarb and I am sure that he will inform you that you are wrong. James chickened-out on not one, but two occasions . . . 2/6 at 6PM and 2/7 at 9AM.

First of all, I am not located in Chicago.

Riskarb is located in Chicago, and James Stock said that he lived there too, hence the bet between trading records occured there, in Chicago.

And finally, I am absolutely certain that now that you are indeed the bi-polar James Stock because of the way that you have obsessively defended him on this thread.

can't believe this ET sometimes.. a perfectly good discussion on market isssues turns into some childish ego-based bulls**t.

Don't know how one can trade if they lead with their emotions and ego all the time, as reresented by the acrimony on some of these threads! Amazing that on a website of traders you find the most b.s. Traders are supposed to be open-minded, flexible, patient and humble... at least that is my take on what mind-set makes for the best percetion of the markets.

I didn't have to bet James Stock.
Riskarb bet him that very same day ( because they were both located in Chicago ) to put a stop to all of James' nonsense and guess what . . . he was a no-showwww!

What is it about the word no-show that you don't understand??? No James Stock, No Trading Records, just the same old BS.

Now be a good boy and go back to Mommy and get your daily dose of Lithium, or Haldol, ok?
