a beginner's attempt at the pairs

I still think eurusd and usdjpy are the best tag team for long short strategy. I believe hedge fund are on the same page as me especially given there will a change in U.S. Interest change in the near future. At the moment, I would wait until I see a clear trend. On 30 minute, it's going through a congestion
 
I was wrong...today they use usdchf (short) and eurusd (long). I made a profit by long eurusd but made loss by shorting usdjpy. I don't worry too much because now I know which to pairs trading today - waiting for a good time to short usdchf and long eurusd again; at the moment speculators are doing some correction. Given the oversold condition in usdchf and overbought condition, I have to wait until both cross ma100 again

I agree completely....JPY has lots of nice action recently..the EURO (what biggest pair in world in terms of volume?) is monolithic. Is it suffering under it's own weight to coin a bad metaphor.? Why is EURO so "slow"?
 
Yep, eurusd doesn't seem that it wants to depreciate below 1.05 level at the moment. So I am monitoring audusd too for a short limit.there is a momentum in usdjpy... Just waiting it to depreciate below ma100 and will consider a long limit
