I would laugh except I'm the one with no power last night and probably again tonight. Power in Southern California has become comparable to Cairo, Baghdad or Karachi. You see one lightning strike and you can bet there won't be any power.

My visitor can't get into town, all the roads are flooded (it hasn't rained for over 12 hours!) and I can't go get groceries either.

They close the roads here with just a couple of inches of water flowing the idiots. A little grumpy here now. Another stay-home and run the generator night grrrrrrr. :mad:

I'm considering throwing my dogs into my F-250 Super Duty and driving around the barriers to her place. It weighs 9,000 lbs and I doubt 2-3 inches of water across the road is an issue.
