Yep and looked what happened to US inflation after he took office:
Jan 2021: 1.4%
Feb 2021: 1.7%
Mar 2021: 2.6%
Apr 2021: 4.2%
May 202: 5%
...
Oct 2021: 6.2%
It's a PANDEMIC.
You may want to look at the economic stats of
prior Pandemics going all the way back to the 1918 Influenza Pandemic. Typically, inflation associated with Pandemics is short-term (declining) before rising but the Pandemics that were prolonged (extended because people failed to follow public health policies)...those inflation numbers were ugly for the economy.
This Pandemic is obviously a lot different and there were clues about it last year in the fall of 2020 that had many worried about 2021
before the Biden Administration.
- I just don't think Biden administration could fix it because there are too many Covidiots, not concerned about how their actions will / have been impacting the economy.
Keep in mind, although its a inflation record for the past 30 years...its also a record in Europe too and Biden is not the President in any particular country in the Eurozone especially when the inflation numbers begin going up in Europe last year.
This year it leaped, I think, like 4.3% in August for the U.S. while it leaped about 3.4% in the Eurozone in September.
Here's the bad news, as long as this Pandemic is encouraged to continue by countries freaking out about those not vaccinated... it's going to go from bad to worst before it gets better. I'm not an economist but American's and Canadians have managed to set records for their savings account and are eager to spend money no matter the rising cost of goods...
My point, the Biden Administration didn't start this problematic inflation crap. They just can't get enough people to believe in the public health policy to control the Pandemic especially when the Delta Variant showed up.
It could be much worst, you could be living in Venezuela with like a 28% inflation rate...expecting to continue increasing because of the Pandemic.
We need to solve this Pandemic...if not...we're going to be fucked for many years to come.
