80 Democrat voters out doing some Christmas shopping

Isn't that the norm by now in which the party in the Oval office will lose the mid-terms ?

View attachment 271555

Yet, remember this...it doesn't matter who wins/loses the mid-terms...

There's a very good chance that inflation will get worst if the behavior of the people doesn't improve as in prolonging the Pandemic because the fact will still remain...
  • It's a Pandemic of those Not Vaccinated and that makes the economic recovery so much difficult no matter who is President and promised to fix it before it can get bad. :(
Seriously, I just don't see the behavior in the Pandemic changing just because the Republicans will win the mid-terms...I think (my opinion) that Inflation will get worst.

Rich will get Richer and the Poor will get Poorer

P.S. Use all that money you saved up to pay off your debt before interest rates begin to storm upwards. Many ET members gave me a hard time in 2019 when I stated I'm now debt free. :D

Democrats are in for a drubbing unless Donald Trump injects himself into conversation.

People have been arguing Virginia was a Biden +10 state, when in fact it was more like a Trump -7 state.

The only thing is people end up exposing themselves as fools carrying that “bidenflation” argument into the public conversation.

No.

You make some valid points about the supply chain part of it but then try to use it to explain away all of the Biden Tax......a/k/a inflation.

Lets just say that multi-trillion here and multi-trillion there and pretty soon it adds up.......and is. Oh, I see. Paid for.

Ok. Show us how you’ve come to this conclusion then.

The Brandon adminstartion never even studied the container situation
If they did they would have realized that early this year that all the empty containers were in the USA
China had run low of empty containers and that started the price increase
For 2020 we made fewer shipments to China and never sent back the empties

As discussed on a daily basis.

Not going to do a full replay for you as is your game.

If you know nothing about the inflationary forces at play in Biden's economy, then that is fine.

The American public knows.

Gang of EIGHTY crowbar-wielding looters in ski masks ransack California Nordstrom and fill 25 cars with designer goods in raid lasting less than one minute
  • Approximately 80 thieves wearing ski masks stormed the Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, California around 9pm Saturday night
  • Witnesses say the large group raided the Bay Area store in under a minute
  • Two employees were attacked by looters who punched and kicked them while another was pepper sprayed
  • All three were treated for their injuries on scene
  • At least three suspects were arrested in connection to the raid, with one even taken into custody at gunpoint
  • Police say the raid is not connected to the string of nationwide riots that took place over the weekend in wake of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict

Kyle Rittenhouse should have worked security.

This is the truth, although it’s based on a lie.

It’s tough for democrats because the captain of the ship has to lead the boat he was given into waters already on course.

The inflation issue is not of Biden’s doing but he does own it. Making money more expensive because supply chains aren’t strong isn’t the right thing to do either. However, trying to get people to understand what it actually takes to make a pencil is too complicated and they want very complicated matter fixed quickly so it drags on Biden.

Whatever, he asked for the job and now he’s got it. The only thing is people end up exposing themselves as fools carrying that “bidenflation” argument into the public conversation.

The inflation talk was a big discussion on a weekly basis in the fall of 2020 on CNBC and Bloomberg (especially on Bloomberg)...

Then the news shifted back to the U.S. Presidential Elections.

In fact, I remember the first business day after Biden was inaugurated...there were three opening headlines on Bloomberg...U.S. Capitol Insurrection, Inflation, and a story about Federal Reserve/Interest Rates.

The Inflation story got the least headlines. It slowly became more important of a story after the Delta Variant hit the economy and the pace of rising food prices and Europe inflation numbers begin increasing too.

It then recently became a big deal when fuel prices started to dramatically increase along with the headline that consumers are "willing to pay...they have the record-breaking savings".

Yet, the Pandemic is still here and Europe is panicking again...that's when I knew we were fucked again because people do not understand the connection of a prolonged Pandemic (stats shown in a prior chart I posted in this thread) on the economy versus a short-term Pandemic like last year (Nov - Dec) when people had the illusion that the Pandemic is almost over...we now have vaccines.

Like I said before, solve the Pandemic problem (it showed its in control via the Delta Variant)...they will solve the inflation problem because the two are strongly connected.

Biden Administration didn't cause inflation but there's an illusion that he could have fixed it or prevented it from getting worst in the middle of a Delta Variant surge. Reality, a prolonged Pandemic and the Economy was their biggest concern prior to taking office because they saw how deeply connected the two were.

Right. Fuel costs have put the latest pressure on prices but much of this inflation is year over year in comparison to a deflationary time too. Fuel came in up 59% over last year.
