Fuel and natural gas costs are a big cause
When Biden scares away big investment in fossil fuels especially after we had just become energy independent....That triggers everything else
They want high fuel prices and they will do nothing substantive to reduce them.
The US government has become an authoritarian monster. The whole system needs a rethink.
When you pay people to stay home and they will not go back to work unless you make it more attractive to them before they left the labor market.......inflationary or not?
When you have supply chain problems and goods are stuck in the supply chain it drives prices up......that part has been discussed ad naseum. But mix in with it millions of people making more by staying home who now have more discretionary time and discretionary funds to do nothing but bang on the Amazon order button to get that solar powered garlic press........inflationary or not?
That forecast isn’t considering prices if Russia moves into Ukraine.
Right and the europeans have mismanaged their energy supply of late as they have done for years. Making themselves vulnerable to russia, to wind that may or may not blow, and to political uncertainties. So why is that a sign that Biden has not fucked up just because they have fucked up too?
We were in a good place. It has always been true that if Americans were getting good oil and gas prices that the Europeans and people somewhere in Crapistan were paying astronomical prices. Unless you are a lefty the metric is not what they are doing- it is what is possible in America if you keep the idiots and commies out of power.
He's not scaring away big investment, investors aren't putting new money in given the losses with shale in the past decade. And that's not enough to cause 6% inflation in Germany.
