The initial reports stated it was a shotgun. The first victim came out with pellet wounds to her leg.

Later reports stated the shooter had an AR-15, Shotgun, Pistol, and left a bomb(s)

I grew up in an era where our high school had a riflery team and an archery team. Students brought their guns and bows to school every day. Nearly all the administrators (many were ex-Marines) had guns in their cars. Many students had guns in their cars as well if they planned to a range after school or go hunting upstate after a Friday.

All of this in suburban Long Island not far from the the border of New York City (Queens).

We never had a school shooting. What has gone wrong in the modern era that this is a problem?

It's confirmed. Shot gun and 38 revolver that belonged to his dad. Oh, and ban pressure cookers, too. He used one of those.

Just want to post this here before one of the clowns on this forum such as Slartibartfast come after me again saying that the headline never existed and I am a liar (which he has done regularly). The Headline is shown below -- however it links to CNN's live feed on the shooting which actually mentions nothing about the guns. So here is a screen shot of CNN right now to prove that this is what the media reported -- before Slartibartfast or one of his ilk call me a liar again for simply stating the exact text of what the headline read at the point in time when I went to the website.
