Securing Syria's chemical weapons stockpiles and the facilities that produced them would likely require the U.S. to send more than 75,000 ground troops into the Middle Eastern country, MailOnline learned Wednesday.

That estimate comes from a secret memorandum the U.S. Department of Defense prepared for President Obama in early 2012.

They will split hairs and say ground troops aren't combat troops. They'll say, we're not actively engaged in combat, we're just providing logistics and support units. Occassionally they attack us and of course we have to fight back. The bullshit never ends.
I really hope Assad launches everything he has against Israel, and anyone else within range. I hope the Russkies get involved and support him militarily. They are within their rights to do so. Like it or not, just cause or not, evil empire or not...the enemy has the right to fight back when attacked. F'n bastards in this country, especially our government, aren't going to learn that until a few million people die.
 
There are probably already guys there scouting out targets and shit.

Also, when Obama did Libya, everyone said Syria was next and they were ignored as conspiracy theorists and kooks.

Now people are saying again, you do Syria, next will be Iran.

What if this is done with no US casualties?
What if a moderate type group wins new election?
What if the conduit of monies and weapons from Iran through Syria to Gaza and Hezbollah is shut down?
What if new Syria and Israel sign treaties ( they have very few conflicts)
What if Obama manages this outcome?
What if this becomes the new Obama doctrine to solve regional Islamic conflicts?
What if this new Obama doctrine becomes studied for generations in the war colleges?

Let's hope none of this happens. I don't want Israel attacked. They don't engage as "thoughtfully" as we do. None the less, I keep telling you guys Obama is the most dangerous president in our history. One with a love for Muslims and a hatred for OUR America...
