  • The Trump administration is preparing to divert $US7.2 billion from the Pentagon’s budget to fund the president’s US-Mexico border wall this year, according to a Washington Post report published Monday.
  • The reported figure is five times greater than $US1.4 billion Congress allotted for the project in the 2019 and 2020 federal budget.
  • The new plan suggests the administration will increase the amount taken from military construction projects to $US3.7 billion.
  • According to the plan, the administration is also preparing to divert $US3.5 billion from the military’s counter-drug operations, which is $US1 billion more than it took in 2019.
Another court fight with delays. He declared a state of emergency over a year ago and still not 1 mile of new border wall has been built. He'll probably be out office when this court fight is over

You really think it'll last 5 more years?

Trump’s border wall blew over in the wind — and landed on the Mexican side

President Donald Trump’s much-hyped border wall suffered an embarrassing setback when newly installed panels in his fence blew over in the wind — and landed on the Mexican side of the border.

“Mexicali police have confirmed with News 11 that a portion of the new border wall fell on the Mexico side of the border, landing on several trees,” KYMA-TV reported Wednesday. “A portion of the wall landed on the trees, preventing it from hitting the ground. It runs about 130 feet in length.”

The wall falling over was not the only news on the project reported by KYMA-TV on Wednesday.

“A team of federal agents has uncovered the longest illegal border tunnel ever found along the southwest border,” KYMA-TV reported. “Members of the San Diego Tunnel Task Force (SDTTF) first discovered the tunnel’s entrance in late August of 2019. Subsequent investigation revealed it to be a record-breaker.”

The tunnel is said to stretch over 4,300 feet — which is more than three-quarters of a mile.

That's what happens when you hire out to your buddies who aren't certified and live in denial about climate change.

Building a physical wall in 2020, the 19th century ideas are alive and well.

That's really funny that you think walls are a 19th century idea. Shows you have no clue about history even in the slightest which is why people like you are doomed to repeat it. Humans have built walls as long as they've been building the wheel. I guess now you're going to be against using wheels in 2020 since they're also an old idea.
