$6.99 for a jar of Helmans Mayonaise

Kewpie is the only real Mayonnaise, period. Anyone who tried it will very likely agree.

I raise you:

And we are not even talking about Indian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisines.

We only have more than 3000 dishes identified by name and region. The BBC tried to run a show on Spanish food and run out of time while it covered a small percentage of dishes.

You guys eat shit.

This is just a small list of dishes.

Show me a list of "American" food, let's laugh at it

It's ok, he lived on a boat for the past 25 years. The only stories he heard from around the world was from that one single friend.

You are the one that is trying to define a country based on "your friend's opinion". That's what a teenager with no fucking clue would say.

Just read the world obesity report, you guys have a serious problem. And the worst of it is that you are proud of it.

Making new friends, skipper? Too funny seeing you agitate in every single thread you surface. American food culture is the absolutely worst in the world, right after England. Canada does not even count because Canadians openly admit they don't even have a flood culture. Several billion people agree on American cuisines, except of course your one imaginary friend you speak so proudly of. Ever thought about why every single last immigrant to the US desperately tries to recreate their food culture from back home?

Since you've spent your life eating it, and were enough of an idiot to start such a trivial, meaningless thing, I'll agree with that last point. Goodbye.

Be thankful you don’t live in Saskatchewan, Canada. Our local Co-op 1.42 liter Mayo $14.49.

Well your Socialist leader loves the high prices. The better to control people with. Maybe, ask Cuddles4BS why he so loves Socialism. Funny, this Canadian keeps meddling in US affairs. I have told him to stick to Canada and Justin Trudeau.
Here's the thing... and I am being 1000% non-political here... but look around at rush hour.
In any friggin city.

There is no way on God's green earth we can go "all electric" by 2030.

If anyone thinks so.... then mortgage everything you own and buy whatever company can upgrade the existing grid and has verticals in the copper wire extrusion sector.

For real.

Diesel fuel is $5+ everywhere.
I mean... it doesn't take a friggin rocket scientist to figure this out.

But like I have written before.... if prices flatten, then inflation goes to zero.
A dozen eggs that were $0.89 last year and are priced at $2.29 now... that doesn't matter. If they stay at $2.29.... inflation has flattened.

It's a reset.
Newurldman is right.. we had it good for too long. I always wondered how things could be so cheap.

These high prices are here to stay.
The water will seek its level.
Labor is gonna be an ongoing problem however, especially with regards to the menial type jobs.

When ya'll go thru a MCD drive-thru...you should be double extra triple nice.
Thank them for working.
For real.
These people merit your respect.

Things are changing.
The water has not yet settled... but if you are lucky enough to be fairly well off... you'll be fine.
But this does not apply to at least 70% of average Americans.

I have no solution... except maybe get oil below $35. :wtf:

I can tell you this with 100% confidence however.... this whole electric car thing... will turn out to be complete BS unless we figure out new ways to power a newly rebuilt grid.

A heatwave sends us into rolling black-outs....
Now... open your eyes and check out the number of cars you see daily on any interstate if you don't live in some bum f Egypt place.
Now... Imagine all them all plugging in nightly.
pfff.

Its all bs folks.
The insane are running the asylum.
There is no common sense. Zero.
Fossil fuels are here to stay for at least the foreseeable future.
You can mark this post.

I actually, worked for an oil company and we researched various green technologies, windmills, solar, geothermal to name a few. What I realized is that green energy sounds good when environmentalists promotes it, after all you do not pollute the environment. However, green energy is very expensive to harness and there is not enough supply of it to make any business sense. We put up solar cells in a small village and was able to give them electricity for free. On the flip side, crude oil is where you get gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, liquified petroleum gas, asphalt. Also, used to produce plastics and run power plants to generate electricity. Now, if they can replace crude oil, with all these so called marvelous research of theirs, they would have replaced oil 30 years ago. I will give these green energy fools another 100 years. The US has abundant supplies of crude oil and natural gas enough for 100 years if we simply tap it. Joe Biden's war on crude oil will destroy the US in more ways but, you have legions of his followers still believing he is doing a fine job. Heaven help us.

I think this was an inevitability after 16 years and trillions in handouts. We gave a 15percent of our gdp in just Covid aid.

We let interest rates stay so low for so long that pictures of a monkey were better investments than actual bonds to fund real growth.
Yet ... much less than ECB and especially BOJ:-
