5 for 5

Ah, I see your logic. When GOP wins very close election, it is fair, when Democrats win it, it is done by fraud. Got it.

You should take it as a compliment. Your ground game is far better than the republicans. Plus, dems have a better excuse the few times they lose. Voter suppression. So even if the dem loses, they still get to score race baiting points.

Let's not get too excited. There are still a few thousand absentee ballots in Ohio apparently. Lot of opportunity for the democrat vote fraud machine to get involved. They are experts at producing just enough votes to get their guy over the finish line. Republicans get Charlie Browned again and again and go away muttering but swallow it because losing graciously is more important to cuck republicans than winning. Democrats are so used to stealing close elections that they are enraged when they are thwarted, like when they tried to steal Florida for Al Gore.

Wow, who could have seen that coming? (Hint: me)

COLUMBUS – The tight race between Democrat Danny O'Connor and Republican Troy Balderson just got tighter.

Election officials in Franklin County found 588 previously uncounted votes in a Columbus suburb. The result: O'Connor had a net gain of 190 votes, bringing the race's margin down to 1,564.

"The votes from a portion of one voting location had not been processed into the tabulation system," according to a Franklin County Board of Elections news release.

Balderson declared victory Tuesday night in the closely watched congressional district race in central Ohio. But O'Connor says he's waiting for all votes to be counted.

That includes 3,435 provisional ballots and 5,048 absentee ballots, which will be tabulated by Aug. 24.

My personal opinion is that the minority should not fringe upon majority. The solution is quite “simple” - amend the constitution and remove EC rules. Unil then, it is our law and our system. Fair or unfair it may seem.

Completely agree. Say what you want about the Constitution and founding fathers (and you guys usually do) but they were smart enough to put in place a method to amend and repeal.

With the American people who developed and use the Electoral College for Presidential elections. Some people never like to work within ANY system. So, fuck 'em
The American people wanted and voted for Hillary Clinton to be thier President.

Trump does have one majority with The American people though, those who disapprove

Agree, however unfortunately current law is EC. And GOP will keep winning elections cause of it. Change of such magnitude takes generations.

For example, 100plus years ago Republicans were forward thinkers and moved the progress. Roles have completely changed now.

What I personally hate about EC is the fact that my vote does not really count. I live in NY and it will easily go blue, same with Texas, it will easily go red. With majority vote every one counts.

On the flip side, if we have majority rule in elections. Smaller states will be completely ignored in preseidential compaigns.

You want the system that makes it more likely your side will win. That's the long and short of it. I'm quite sure progs would be demanding some big change if we had a popular vote system and they lost.

It's not like it would be the first time you totally changed your core principles out for political power. Liberals used to be for strong immigration controls to protect the working class they pretended to champion. When they saw letting hordes of illiterate Hispanics flood our country helped them win elections, they suddenly were not so concerned about working people.

They used to be for free speech. Now that they control the media, big corporations and the entertainment industry, suddenly they find free speech offensive and dangerous.

Progs used to be against globalization and free trade. In fact, they regularly rioted against it. Now that your leaders have all been bought and paid for by China Inc, suddenly it is a good thing and Trump is insane to challenge it.

Whatever. Maybe you can get some random federal district court judge to declare the EC unconstitutional and he will decide how future elections will be conducted.
