5 for 5

Agree. That is why we just need to be patient and see how November will turn out. All speculation for now.

Plus if Democrats can somehow stall Kavanah appointment, Dems will show up in even larger droves to block nomination till 2020.

You're absolutely right, it's all speculation. Except for the OH election. That was won by the GOP.

I personally didn't see this as having much to do about Trump per se.

IMHO it was a referendum on the future of the Democratic Party.

My take was that the far left candidates won't do well outside the Coasts. It was a powerful message that Centrist Democrats are a political force to be reckoned with and a winning formula for the majority of the country.

And we still have the twelve amendment to the Constitution. If every person in the coastal blue states voted Democrat, it still wouldn't necessarily win a general election. Democrats have to be able to appeal to the working class suburban and rural voters who actually turn out to cast a vote. Those are the types of voters who make a difference for house and senate majorities and for general elections - and they are not for the most part far left leaning. Those types of voters are pretty much Centrist. You can't stray too far left or right.

Saying Hillary got more individual votes but fewer electoral votes is like saying your favorite team got more yards but fewer points.

The result Is the same -

You
Fucking
Lost.
With The EC,not the American people
