I hope I didn't come across as lecturing you earlier, maybe I misinterpreted your last post. I like you and don't want to see you leave, thats why I was saying to be cautious:)

I really respect and appreciate your openness. You call all your trades in real-time and not many people do that. I can't stand folks that just drop by and say "I made $4K today", I am like, wtf, you wanna a cookie? How does that add any value to the thread.

At any rate, you know what you are doing better than anyone else.
 
Spansih, as someone that trys to read and keep up with this thread, and who really doesn't post much at all, good or bad, I thought I would just throw this out. It's meant to help, so don't take it the wrong way.

I think what happens is that when you are in the "zone" so to speak and, these are your words, "attacking the market", you come across very cocky and in control. Then, you have a losing streak or take a big hit, and your like a whipped puppy.

You go from one end of the spectrum to the next. I think if you toned it down a bit when you win, and then stop whining so much when you lose, you would give some of the people less ammunittion.

Again, I love to read this thread for those very reasons, because it really is intersesting and entertaining. You might find you could make a better living being an entertainer than a trader if you ever decide to quit trading.

OK, that's all... and please don't take it as a cut or diss, because that's not my intention. I'm just saying that I think you open yourself up to the wise cracks from some of these guys because of your ups and downs and some of the crazy ways you go about "attacking the oil".

Good trades and get back to your winning so we can hear the good stuff again! :)

I had never heard of spread betting or thought about trading oil until I began to read it.

You are a brilliant young man but you are blowing it for the lack of some simple housekeeping and planning skills.
At the rate you are going you are going you are going to need a liver transplant by the age of 25. No wonder that you are shaky.

FIRST Go buy some milk and some healthy groceries!

Schedule some exercise, schedule some food, schedule some sleep, schedule some laundry.

Your brain is your weapon.

Trading drunk, high or hung over or starving is unprofessional, adds additional risk and sets you up for "bad luck".

Don't pickle it. Prepare.

Good luck is where preparedness meets opportunity.

And take some time off to learn to use options some time soon.
Most of your levels have been so good it would be a delight to see what you could if you take better care of yourself, and got a real brokerage account and real tools. I think it is even worth being responsible and paying taxes and repaying loans to be able to have a real account and do real reliable risk management with options instead of having a damn trailing stop ratchet down on your trade.

You are gutsy and you have been successfully, and we don't wish to see you blow up.

Exercise some emotional control and stick to "Plan the trade, and trade the plan".

There's only a handful of people on this thread I can think of who talk about their trading and they posted screenshots for proof if i remember correctly?

Could this be sour grapes because others are able to make money when you lose it and so you think they must all be lying, lol?

Truehawk’s message on p.514 is spot on. Couldn’t endorse it more. I’d like to see you succeed Spanish, and thinking carefully about what he has taken the time to write would help you a lot.
