Money management is so important, I turned a 50 tick winner into a loss today.

But I'm still relatively new to oil and 13 wins from 15 trades is not too bad:cool:

More important than 'managing money' though is just having the patience for hen its needed, and then being able to attack hard when its needed and having the guts hold the thing then till you can earn the cash. :)


I duno why i only can do my exceptional performances when im really really angry and in rage and in desperate need of money,
and the rest of the time when im doing good it all then fades away.. :(


But im now feeling extremely hungry for this market!!

money does not make u happier, in a survey done, the marginal return to happiness was 60k a year, after that hapiness from $$ goes down dramatically.

i would be so sooo happy if i could have 60k per year.


if i even had 26k per year tht would keep me veyr happy cos i wouldnt have to be soacred and terrified all day everyday and all weekend every weekend of the months... :/ :(

Yes i use longer timeframe in FX, with oil as itis volatile can stops can be take out just that, i think ill need to use smaller TF and get in n out quick to bag afew ticks.... obv taking risk reward into consideration...

I'm not looking to get particularly rich either, but having enough money to be comfortable gives you a sense of freedom to do what you want to do and not be tied to a 9-5 etc etc.

So I've set my goal to 10k a week:D

Just kidding 100 -150 points a week on oil is enough but not at £2 a point lol

I need to make another £500 before I go up to £3
