many of us know how hard it is to grind out a real living trading with your own real money.
we don't accept that fact that someone who blows up others money multiple times is a great trader.

I am not impressed with his trading record.
Its not great trading to make trades and then sell vol til you blow up. Its just another way to double down on the way down.

The facts are bloomberg has the AUM at 350plus a long time prior to the highwater level-- about a year-- and Matador had impressive performance again during that year which built more AUM not to mention the other two funds plus managed accounts. Atticus has no way of knowing these details yet he is willing to bet "any amount" ? I'm a nice guy and will decline----

By the way about the Matador issue, if I recall there were 2-3 funds, so it is possible that both Surf and Atticus are right, none of the funds went over 500 million but together they could have...
