2020 Election is Over----Dems just don't realize it yet.

Trump needed The House to pass his agenda, prevent non stop House investigations, impeachment etc.

Trump voters did show up though with the GOP having more votes than 2010 or 2014.Black voters had twice the turnout in 2018 than 2014 though so Trump was fucked just like he will be when black voters have the highest turnout ever in 2020
I really don't care if Dems turn out in massive numbers in CA, NY, IL, WA, VA, MA, NJ. Let em' vote!!

Dems won 23 of 33 Senate races, got 18 million more votes and won Pennsylvania,Wisconsin,Michigan,Nevada,Virginia ,Minnesota ,Arizona and Ohio as well as red states Arizona,West Virginia and Montana and every blue state race.
and lost in the seat count.

A couple of quick housekeeping corrections to the record. Dems had a total surplus of House Votes in the amount of 9.7 million, not 10 million.------Dems had a total surplus of Senate Votes in the amount of 17.5 million, not 18 million.
PhoneySnark always quibbles about 78,000 votes, and so would certainly want these discrepancies which are larger than that to be rectified.

Please show me the ballots that had Trump's name on them.
To black voters Trump was on the ballot, just like 2018

How John Bel Edwards won the Louisiana Governor's race

"John Bel Edwards won with African American votes and African American turnout," political analyst Ron Faucheux said. "The 51% that Republicans got combined in the primary fell to 49% in the runoff, and that was largely due to increased African American turnout."

Edwards spent much of his time in the closing days of the race in predominantly-black areas, trying to bring more black voters to the polls. During the last week of the campaign, Mayor LaToya Cantrell stumped for the incumbent governor.

"This race really proved to be rural vs. urban, and Governor Edwards really performed so well in all of the urban areas," said pollster and analyst Greg Rigamer.

The strategy worked overwhelmingly. By the time final results came in Saturday night, Edwards had secured about 99% of the African American vote, according to WWL-TV's election analysis

By 9:45 p.m., WWL-TV called the election for Edwards because 93% of returns had come in, and the majority outstanding were from predominantly black districts, which had broken universally for the Democrat."

PRE-2018 ELECTION

Get out in 2018, because you’re voting for me in 2018,” the president said. “You’re voting for me. You’re voting for me.”

The day before Election Day, Trump went so far as to declare, “Even though I’m not on the ballot, in a certain way I am on the ballot.”

AFTER LOSING THE HOUSE

“I won the Senate, you don’t mention that…. I won the Senate…. I won the Senate, and that’s historic, too.”

but added: “I didn’t run. I wasn’t running. My name wasn’t on the ballot.”
