2020 Election is Over----Dems just don't realize it yet.

Reader---this is due to the fact that most Senate races were held in states that had incumbent Democrats. This affects the vote total across all races and would lend itself to more Dem votes. Dems getting more votes overall and by a wide margin in 2018 is singularly meaningless . Furthermore, Trump was not on the ballot in any race since Nov 2016.

Only applies to Senate vote count where Dems won by 18 million votes.

The state of Wisconsin, where incumbent Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin was running for reelection, yielded a 200k surplus of Dem House votes.

So , as can be seen, The Dem House surplus was largely in states where incumbent House Democrat Senators were running for reelection. In fact, if you add up the states of CA, NY, IL, MA, VA, WA and NJ, you'll see that Dem House surplus in those states was 10.3 million. Trump won none of these states in the 2016 election and still won, so the point about Dems getting 10 million more votes than Republicans has no bearing on the 2020 election. Trump wasn't even on the ballot in these elections. There were Democrat surpluses in the three states than I mentioned PA, WI and MI, but all 3 had Democrat incumbent Senators on the ballot and Mr Trump only needs to win one of those states in 2020 in order to win. --With a lot more Republican Senators up for reelection in 2020 than Democrat Senators, we should see a stronger Republican presence in those states that have those incumbents and this will affect House races as well.

What does that have to do with Trump voters voting to keep The House for Trump?

Again,Senate races are not House races.Trump voters could have voted for thier GOP House candidate while not voting for the Democrat Senator
House races do not excite voters. They come out more when there is a Senate race. Thus, it is hard to vote for House candidate when you don't go to the polls.

Trump needed The House to pass his agenda, prevent non stop House investigations, impeachment etc.

Trump voters did show up though with the GOP having more votes than 2010 or 2014.Black voters had twice the turnout in 2018 than 2014 though so Trump was fucked just like he will be when black voters have the highest turnout ever in 2020

A couple of quick housekeeping corrections to the record. Dems had a total surplus of House Votes in the amount of 9.7 million, not 10 million.------Dems had a total surplus of Senate Votes in the amount of 17.5 million, not 18 million.

Yet, Republicans picked up Senate seats. This the beauty of our system. You really need to become less misguided.

Dems won 23 of 33 Senate races, got 18 million more votes and won Pennsylvania,Wisconsin,Michigan,Nevada,Virginia ,Minnesota ,Arizona and Ohio as well as red states Arizona,West Virginia and Montana and every blue state race.
