2014 was a summer sizzler: Earth's hottest on record

No, what I'm saying is that a millisecond of time has absolutely no value as a predictive model in climate, stocks, or anything else. Your 134 years of data is totally useless. It has absolutely no value. It tells us nothing of substance. It cannot, will not, can never be of any use to predict anything. It has proven to be totally wrong in the past,(climate getting colder), it is wrong now and will continue to be wrong because the data is so completely insignificant in the overall scheme of things.

First off, most scientists were predicting warming in the seventies, and 134 years of instrumental records is certainly significant, especially when paired with past proxy temperature data. The combination results in the famous hockey stick chart which just using common sense shows something is going on. The knowledge that CO2 is a greenhouse gas and levels have gone up 40% leads to a pretty obvious conclusion to anyone with any logical thinking capabilities.

It's clear to anyone with an ounce of brain material that the earth is rapidly warming.

In addition the reason for it is the increase in greenhouse gasses, no other reason fits.
