Weekly Update for week 32/50 ended 8/25/2012


Nice week, up 10K (8.4%) on 18 trades. Nice to hit a 5-figure week once again.

Delighted some key discretionary strategies are showing some sign of life once again. It is important to remain disciplined with the sizing rules and avoid the strategies that are under ban.

Weekly Update for week 33/50 ended 8/31/2012


Ok week, up 2K (1.6%).

Things have quietened down a bit in the market for my core strategies, still managed to get 9 trades.

For the four weeks ended 8/31/2012, gain comes to +20.2K against a target of +4K. Hoping for more of this. Every week was positive (including the +$5 week).

For the next four weeks, target is being set again at +4K. September is normally very quiet for individual stock moves (not much earnings-related moves), so will take what the market has to offer without pressing it.

Weekly Update for week 34/50 ended 9/7/2012


Great week, up 19K (14.6%). Delighted the good times are not gone forever.

Missed out on much of the move on Thursday being absent in the early morning, but still made little money going with the momentum. The big money was on Fri as I faded some of the over-extended moves buying PUTS on expiring options on the likes of GOOG and LNKD.

Took out 5K for the month ended 8/31/2012.
