People are asking to know his trades so they can understand what he is doing better to actually help him. Only so much advice you can give without actually knowing what he is specifically doing, though I doubt the advice would be taken. To me it seems Neke is a serial fader of strong trending moves, which has seriously hurt his account many times. Friday did suck as the up move happened very fast at the opening and then just continued to stay up there; however, if the position wasn't opened up before Friday, there was no reason to short the market heavy. What seems to happen is he fades the market and then adds for a better average position and then pukes it if there is too much pain. Of course this doesn't always happen but is a noticeable pattern of his. This isn't a normal drawdown. I can't believe he has much if any confidence left. Go back to the sim and re-work your strategy until you are confident with your trading. Sometimes no trading is better than trading if you are just consistently losing. I also don't believe anyone wants Neke to fail. He is just being very stubborn, and it is showing with the continuous account decreases.

Trade with the trend. Always. I've saved my ass many times by slapping myself silly whenever the urge comes about to fade a move. RTM systems lose in the long term. Since his "system" has'nt worked in past 2 years, since he prefers to trade with real money, the OP can look into the fabled JH system where traders are guranteed to take out 10x the intraday trend. He'll make up his loss in 2 months max.

On another note, the guy should officially acknowledge he has blown up his account and take a break from trading. Looks to me he has had a 80% drawdown from his account peak.

spend it on a good trading coach. Van Tharp or someone like FT71 who can provide proprietary tools to pinpoint deficiencies in strategy and psychology.

It is interesting - nobody spoke about taking a good trading coach ...

Quote from JustDoingIt:

Stop trading, withdraw all but about 50k, learn a few viable strategies, develop solid risk management, and share your trades with someone(your wife is a good start).

... and take good trading coach?

Just how much money does he need for somebody which is good?

Quote from jackiebrown:

Oh, you gonna tell me the reason you lost all the goddam money I got in the world! Let me tell you the reason, motherfucker! The reason is, your ass ain't worth a shit no more!

[Ordell takes the pistol, works the barrel up higher on Louis' side, right under him arm, and shoots him again.]

What the fuck happened to you, man? Shit, your ass use'ta be beautiful.

Wouldn't a good trading coach also be a good trader, and therefore be very expensive?

You might be surprised how much (useful) help you can get from winning traders, if you truly LOVE trading and have a humble attitude. Money isn't the only reason they trade.

I learned a great deal from Tharp's first book, which you can find for $10 on ebay.

FALSE

Are you just waking up from a deep slumber?

With 8000 posts to your credit, one would think you had more substance upstairs than a one-word outburst.

You need to be very careful with tharps premises, his r-multiples are astoundingly unrealistic in magnitude (specifically his position sizing game).
