Secrets to what? Losing money? Aren't you down ~50% from your $1m starting equity? Still waiting for $0 equity within "n" months.

I think Neke would benefit from posting his trades.

I'm doing fine, thanks: just taking a hiatus working on my trading psychology and a bit more studying.

Quote from tenthousandmen:

What's the difference? You can't reverse engineer anything in trading, even if you have an idea of how it works. Why don't brokers reverse engineer their best clients, quit then trade it themselves?

You're not engineering dates, but parameters. Trying to build a model just so it will give you the most optimal long term entry points is not what reverse engineering is referring to.

they do all the time. Any experienced micro market structure pro can discern a strategy after having worked around a list of about 500 trades...

Seems you're stuck in a multi-year losing streak. Save the 10k you'll lose next week and spend it on a good trading coach. Van Tharp or someone like FT71 who can provide proprietary tools to pinpoint deficiencies in strategy and psychology.

Going forward with a 50 percent drawdown is sheer madness.

I used to reach others' posts, and thought the posters must know something, because they sounded so sure of what they posted.

Now, after I accumulated some knowledge, I realize these posters who sound so sure of what they are posting actually know nothing about trading.

You are one of them. You know nothing about trading.

I remind everybody this is neke's journal, and if you would like to have a discussion about reverse-engineering then please start your own thread elsewhere. Thanks.

fair point Magna. Back to Neke.

Neke, would you mind posting your trades again, rationale behind it (maybe its too much to ask) but at least what you traded? Or, if you just peruse this thread for yourself without seeking comments could you please let us know, then I won't waste your and my time. I have never commented on the risk you take, every trader has to be accountable to himself as long as you are trading your own funds. But just posting weekly account updates does not add value unless, as asked before, it is posting just for yourself.

Thanks

Told u -- good luck on that reply...

This is all very painful to peruse. I can't imagine continuing like this. I worry seeing so many withdrawals. I think having outrageous targets for trades or years is damaging.

Get small.
Get help.
Stop. It is not working.
Buy and hold would have done better!
