Active trading... Hellooo???

Not overstated at all.

Fundamentals are predominantly irrelevant in intraday markets. Which is why I prefaced my statement with a longer time frame.

Slower markets are my game, which is why I take heed to fundamentals. I don't want to have to make a nut in a game where bots that are colocated next to the exchanges make a significant difference in my net P&L.

Hello to you too.

It's been a horrific draw-down... Will be shutting down all manual contrarian strategies, and sizing down on the automated ones even further while I explore other possibilities.

neke, you probably couldn't care less. Nevertheless, I'm here to repeat your success not your failure. Please, pull yourself together and show us that you know how to trade. You can do it! Do you really need to experiment so often with your capital?

You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can't possibly live long enough to make them all yourself.

Man neke. I feel for you bro. I've been in your shoes. Painful to watch. Taking time off does not mean defeat. It allows one to be objective about what is going on. I don't think u have tried that before.

Looks like your problems started at the beginning of 2010. I would take a hard look at the root cause, by reviewing your plan and trades. It might help to clear your head. No question you are in a rut. The trick is figuring how to get out of it.
