Didn't read the whole thread, but if you've only been simming then you're obviously in for a bad surprise. Try mini lots ($10,000) until you're consistently profitable. That's about $1/pip EUR/USD, and it gives you a true indication for slippage, etc...

Every time I hit bid or offer my fill is just that...I see no slippage.

Strike that I misread my platform lol:p

I'm still good for now
well one good thing about being that close is you never have to decide when to take a loss. Your broker will kindly do it for you to spare you the painful decision.

Yep. What I thought was a margin call is I'm close to being out of margin and won't have enough to fire off that last 1/4 lot should this go up much more.

this sucks

you and everybody else, and each time they get closed out that is another offer lifted, and on and on it goes until finally the short side is in strong hands.

I never thought of it that way but makes sense.

I am darn close to being closed out. At the outer limits of my margin.

Cover this 1/4 lot from 99 as quickly as I can and still make a dcent dime cause this may take another stab above 00

there's a lot you never thought about, but each time you think, you loose a little more reliance on your "feel" for the market
