Natural Born Citizen will not be ruled on because for one thing there is no need. Common law ,Constitutional Law ,even the words of the father of the Constitution define it , make it perfectly clear.

Therefore Obama's parentage, and anyone else's for that matter, is not an issue. He was born on American soil and according to all the above that is a NBC. It's obvious when you actually think about it.

NBC won't be ruled on because he was born in Hawaii. If he wasn't then HE would not be a NBC and not eligible for President. Parentage does matter. The Constitution does not clearly define natural born citizen. The law does and if obama was born abroad he would not be a nbc.

Facts...

1. we do not know where the hell Obama was born because he chose to default rather than provide info or sworn testimony to a Georgia Court. And, as far as anyone knows... he has never provided such info to a state election board.

2. The Supreme Court has not defined natural born citizen... so no fool in the world can tell us with any authority what the definition is.

It could be born on U.S. soil.
It could be born on US soil to one american parent or two american parents.

Correct me if I am wrong Jem but this appears to me as fact. I have no idea how to verify if this is the present law or not but it is the only clear definition of NBC that I have seen.

Since Obama's father was not a US Citizen or US National, and his mother was not deployed by the govt for military or diplomatic reasons.. BO would NOT be a natural born citizen IF he was born abroad.

Do you actually believe the media has attacked Obama with the same Veracity as Romney?

They are going after stories of Romney putting a Dog on his roof, and another story of Romney bullying someone while in highschool.

Yet there is no desire to pursue Obama's racist pastor, nor is there a desire from the media to pursue Obama's radical friends.

There is basically three things the media should be attacking Romney on, Bain, his time in Government, and his flip flopping. Yet they choose to add to the attakcs pursuing bullshit narratives....

As a libertarian, i got no problem with his time at Bain, what i find objectionable is his big spending as a governor, and the fact that he is a patholoical liar like Obama.....

Yet instead of going after the big spending as governor, or flip flopping, they focus on trivial issues, like his dog from 30 years ago, and the fact he bullied a kid in highschool, also the timing of that story just so happened to coincide with Obamas massive flip flop on gay marriage...... Whereby they proceeded to claim Obama was a civil rights hero, and Romney was a Gay basher..... Gee.... the timing on that one was pretty convenient for Obama.... Wouldnt you agree? Especially when it is coming from the supposedly "unbiased media."

So if Obama was born abroad you may be right but you may not be.

The first question is would he be a U.S. citizen. Since his mom was I think that means he was a citizen or could choose to be... even if he was born overseas.

Is he a Natural born Citizen .. I think it matters less where he was born... and more whether he was born a citizen or born a citizen to one american or born a citizen to two americans.

But that is a guess. We need U.S. Supreme Court case law.

I read your rundown of cases and it seems that no matter what he is citizen (which I don't think anyone doubts), and according to the ruling in the lynch case it seems that they directly addressed that he would be eligible for the Presidency (assuming he was born in Hawaii). Also, Is section 1401 in the link I provided accurate?
