Gavin has jumped into his new job at GISS of generating fake global warming data for the White House, and has made May the warmest on record globally. Never mind that May, 2014 was an average month, much cooler than 1998 and 2010 â and May temperatures have actually been in decline for 16 years. That isnât what the boss wants to see.

so instead of lets say a a minus 1 followed by quarter of gdp growth of minus one.. they get to change it to a minus 3 but push plus 2 into the next quarter... pretty much assuring a non negative quarter and a recession.

The left wants GDP to look bad, so for Q1, knowing GDP was going to look bad, they made efforts to make it look worse--by hiding government spending! Makes perfect sense.
In reality if you use the old way we calculated inflation we have been in a recession since just before the collapse in what 2008.
I would not be surprised that if you really did the work you would see we have not really grown the economy since the reapeal of glass steagall by Clinton and Rubin.
(this does not excuse Obama... the economy could have grown quickly if he cut taxes and invested in infrastructure.)

FCâs latest wild swing is that Goddard made up the data⦠which was produced and released by a government agency. The biased adjustments are not unique to the US. They are, however, common to government agencies that survive, indeed expand, on the back of the taxpayer.
