13 Russian nationals indicted for interfering in US elections

So can someone on the left tell me why they arent charging Michael Steele and the Russians who created the Trump Dossier, when Steele said directly he wanted to take down Trump?

Some pro russia group puts out a hundred k in fake facebook ads, and its a huge scandal, someone takes 12 million to create a fake dossier about the president, and its nothing.

Its so funny the way this works....... Wait till this one gets weaponised in the next election, both sides are now going to have to defend what random people post on the internet, break out the popcorn, the next presidential debate is going to be about random tweets and facebook posts.

Heh, Rosenstein is a survivor just as I said. You can watch the chameleon's spots change the closer we get to the IG's report and the unveiling of the dossier stuff. A couple extra words in his press conference and he would be bye-bye before long. Not sure how he is going to erase his name from the fisa warrant sign off or explain why he never informed the CIFIUS committee that had a Russian bribery case in progress at the time they reviewed the deal and signed off on it or explain away the McCabe bribery, but if he keeps saying the right things, maybe he can make it all go away. He is good at what he does, and what he does is be a slimeball.
 
Is this worse or better than Hussein sitting at the feet of an avowed racist and black supremacist for 20+ years?

I don't recall any special prosecutor on that story.
 
Btw for the people still banking on Russian Collusion, Mueller would not have indicted all of these people beforehand if there was a chance anyone was going to give him the goods on Trump, so the one thing you can bank on with all these people is that not a single one of them has any connection to Trump.

Also probably quite a few people in the ones indicted are innocent. It is easy to indict someone in another country and know that you will never have to actually prove your case in court. It helps Mueller to get his scalp count up without having to run the risk of losing in court, as he is prone to do. Maybe if he can't get Trump, he will indict Putin. It's all good I guess.

Well, I am not on the left but I am going to answer it because it goes to a highly explosive issue that the FBI wants to cover up.

Steele allegedly lied to the FBI about his contacts with the press and disclosed his working relationship with the fbi to the press.

The problem with the FBI prosecuting him is that they and Steele both know that he was working for both Fusion/the dossier producer and the FBI who was partnered with Fusion in furthering the dossier both through potential funding for future phases and because Ohr/the fbi agent in the central office was giving and getting info from Fusion through his wife who worked on the dossier at Fusion. So if you prosecute Steele he is going to defend himself by arguing that the FBI was party to the process of leaking info to the press and complicit in everything he did, which of course is true. But could send some FBI types to prison. The fbi came out with a bunch of faux outrage when they found out that he was talking to the press. I mean what else could they do, but they would like the issue to go away.

That is one of the very most main reasons why the FBI is scared shitless about having an independent prosecutor appointed. The independent prosecutor will be looking for scalps just like Mueller is and will not care if they come from within the FBI.

It's all going to blow up. Give it another month or so as the Inspector General's report comes out. He sees their gig.
 
Id be willing to bet though i cant be sure that there were other governments who spent more than 100k trying to advertise on facebook...... You hit the nail on the head, there is tens of millions of non citizens around the world talking about U.S. politics, (myself included) but supposedly 100k of Russian facebook ads is beyond the pale..... lol its just comical.

Id be willing to bet if you put a dollar amount on all of the foreign agencies and interest groups who spent money on the internet trying to influence the election in one way or the other the number would be in the hundreds of millions if not billions.

Id be willing to bet that There was lots of groups supporting NAFTA who advertised during the elction on the internet, id be willing to bet there is lots of groups who supported the paris climate accord who advertised during the election, id be willing to bet my life, that neither of those groups spent less than 100k..........

To imply 100k in facebook ads is even statistically relevant is laughable to begin with, but to imply 100k in facebook ads swung an election is just downright comical. :D

Supposedly the Russians are the shrewdest operators of the internet we have ever seen, they are getting more than 1 vote per dollar, fuck that 1/100th of a cent per click stuff the russians know how marketing is done, 1 click 1 vote. :D
