I’d like to remind all of you guys, whether you’re on the right or the left or consider yourself in the middle, that the status quo is maintained by the filibuster.
We are all arguing over policies that should have already been implemented, amended, repealed and reimplemented already.
Our government is not designed to be stagnant. We should trying different things with these issues instead of being stuck in a status quo of senseless gun deaths and endlessly arguing over what is the right policy.

And why would they not conclude that? They consider all of the founding fathers to be the enemies of democracy and the 2nd Amendment is just one of the tools that they enacted.
