According to charging documents obtained by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Joseph Renick fired a single shot from his revolver into the head of 15-year-old Sentonio Cox.
Cox was said to have been retreating with his hands up when he was killed.
The charging document did not explain why Renick shot Cox.
Renick was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Renick has a previous felony conviction for failing to pay child support. He is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.

Yes. This fits the pattern: White man shoots black guy so the police and media get right on top of it.
But if.....Black man shoots black man or child on the plantation: Let em work it out on the playground. That's just how those people are. According to the Plantation Owners anyway.
I agree with you but unfortunately banning will not work and probably make things worse. there are way too many guns out there. we have more guns than people in our country (excluding the LE and Military). our only way is to heavily regulate it, that way we will have fewer guns coming into the market and as for the existing guns out there, the government needs to buy all the Assualt rifles and automatic weapons back from the citizens.

Convicted of a felony, possession of firearm illegal. Was already breaking the law. Banning firearms wouldn't have stopped this individual from carrying and shooting the kid.
Am curious as to what happened here. Seems odd. A 15 year old kid gets shot in an alley on the way home at 2-3AM in the morning on Sunday morning.

In additon, most of these mass murderers are NOT criminals until they do the act moron.
People like this guy... He was a normal guy, until the act. No mental exam or background checks would have stopped this, only banning these weapons and restricting ammo access rate etc.
