Democrats are looking at who can beat Trump. I hear you saying the time is right now those numbers are going to change for Joe Biden.

No, I am saying that Joe's numbers topped two months ago but Warren's have not, and that nothing is happening in these last two debates to reverse that or to give anyone any reason to think that they will reverse.

Whether that shows in the numbers "right now" or takes another two months, is neither here nor there. The trajectory is the same.

Yes, Hunter’s dad came out the winner last night. He caused himself no harm and that is all he needed.

The front on Warren just opened up and she has a lot of weaknesses. I’m sticking with my gut on this, black women voters do not support her and black women choose democrat candidates.

Until those voters move this race will continue to be a two person race with Biden in the lead.

I tend to agree with you that Biden came out of this carnival show cleaner than Warren. My assessment is that the DNC is not ready for anything other than an establishment candidate. We saw that in their torpedoing of Sanders in 2016, and now again with Warren. If the DNC were any where near as "progressive" as they claim to be they would be supporting a Gabbard/Buttigieg ticket. They are the two most intelligent of the current line up, and dare I say the most rational by quite a stretch, rational being a relative term when talking politics. both have some baggage, especially Buttigieg with his inner city problems as Mayor, but that really shouldn't hold him back. The fact that dems admit we, they really mean democratic voters, aren't ready to elect a gay man for a top slot tells us everything we need to know about how progressive this party really is. They're still looking for the old guard to come in and save the day. Didn't happen in 2016, and it is unlikely to happen in 2020. The country wants new faces, younger faces. Trump is weak and getting weaker by the month, he's vulnerable. Two old white fucks isn't going to make anyone get off the couch, which means Trump stomps Old Joe. Looks like the left will blow another lay up. One might conclude they prefer to be perpetual victims rather than victors. That too tells us plenty about the democratic party.

Well here is Warren’s campaign signaling policy change on healthcare, as I referred to earlier. As I said she is a very shaky co-front runner and she needs to make adjustments to sure up the base.

She has to change her stances on a lot of issues. Next up is the wealth tax.

Tulsi Gabbard might be the most intelligent of these sorry bunch of Democrats who are way out of their league. When they open their mouths, you know they have no clue of what they are talking about! The problem is the extreme liberal Democrats will NEVER vote for her. She is not extreme enough for them! Despite, the huge costs of Medicare for All that Joe Biden himself said would cost $30 trillion and more than the total US yearly budget, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are doubling down on it! President Donald Trump is actually, getting stronger! The bogus impeachment will go nowhere. More US voters see the Democrats have nothing to offer them pushing them all to vote for President Donald Trump. Even Democrats now have said they will vote for him!

That is not all good though. The viewers and voters have the attention span of a hummingbird so she will take her flack early and re-adjust as needed. Yeh, it is not pretty but it is workable. Similarly is anyone saying that Joe flipped on the Hyde Amendment thing so it was going to knock him out of the early front runner status? Nope. He just repackaged himself and got it over with. Obviously you can't do that endlessly but, you do have to recalibrate when the artillery fire starts coming in. As I said earlier, it is not pretty out on the front lines but every candidate pines to have that problem.

I find the idea that if democrats don’t elect a trump like candidate they are blowing a layup to be ludicrous.

First, trump is a symptom of the country and how easily the electoral system can be manipulated by baseless accusations, empty promises and outside interference.

Second, democrats are responsible for democrats. Republicans are responsible for Trump. They are responsible for his presidency and if it enters a second term.

Actually, in a general sort of way, Bernie gave Warren her best defense but she was too stupid to pick up on it. Biden is saying- I forget what the numbers were- but ridiculous shiite about how a health care plan would cost the equivalent of the entire budget every year or something.
Ahh no. It would be expensive but Bernie is asking why it would be more than the brits and the scandinavians are paying per capita. Ungodly expensive yes. But Joe numbers? Ahh no. Poco needs to work her math from there, not from Joe's assertions.
