They do, plus home ownership is high and spaniards during the brighter days have been saving more than the typical american family, also there is a strong culture of family solidarity but the situation has definetely worsened over the last few years for many/most locals.

yes, but what I am saying is, just because the government reports that 25% are unemployed, that doesn't mean 25% are not working and making money
