    funny thing, it seems like I'm complaining about this fee on this board but actually, I can live with it :) it reigned me in to be more disciplined and IB is always trying to protect itself from risk, I always like that from IB just be consistent in reporting and deducting this fee

    yea, I tested this out last week shorting some ES options, IB included them in their Stress Test. Looks like IB is throwing everything in their stress test even though there are different margin requirements

    yea, beginning of the year, 2 or more SPX option contracts were 1.12 per contract about a month ago, they were 1.14, now, 1.19 per contract but i guess they have to make up for that lame anti-hft exchange :)
