House Passes Bill That Would Allow Puerto Rico to Vote on Its Statehood or Independence

The land for Washington DC was ceded by Virginia and Maryland. About fifty years after it was created, the land ceded by Virginia was returned. If the residents of DC want congressional representation, they should return the residential areas of the district back to Maryland. There's no reason...

Putin plays Biden like a piano, swaps terrorist for weed smoker. lol

what·a·bout·ism definition: the act or practice of responding to an accusation of wrongdoing by claiming that an offense committed by another is similar or worse I would prefer to take as much of a hands off approach in other countries as possible, but I understand why we're sending weapons to...

Putin plays Biden like a piano, swaps terrorist for weed smoker. lol

There are a lot of countries that have very strict drug laws. If you bring illegal drugs into them, you run the risk of going to prison for a long, long time. It doesn't matter if they were legal in your home country or if it was an accident. You have to understand the laws of every country you...

OK, I'm about 99% sure I just came up with a way to DESTROY the market...

I think the thing you're missing is time decay. If the markets decided to move sideways for awhile, your puts would expire worthless, and your leveraged ETFs would lose value.

    Twitter and Musk

Has Elon ever said that he will allow things like racial slurs on Twitter? I don't see him censoring misinformation or politicians, but I do think that there are some things that he will censor.

    Twitter and Musk

That's true. I think that Elon will bring a higher level of freedom of speech to Twitter, but it won't be completely free. I expect that there will still be some censorship in place.

    Twitter and Musk

It appears that the majority of our population want companies to support freedom of speech, and Elon has vowed to advertisers that he won't allow Twitter to become what you described. We'll see what happens. I'm not sure that it's going to be as uncensored as people think.

The Media is Pushing the Racist Police Storyline, It must be an election year

You have to wonder if this was police assisted suicide. The victim's fiancé had recently died, and they found his wedding ring in the car. He allegedly fired at the police from the car prior to the foot chase...

Prove to me that Technical Analysis Works.

Nothing works 100% of the time. This isn't about certainty, it's about probability. Charts are a visual representation of price movement. Price movement is created by an imbalance between buyers and sellers. This imbalance is created by many different factors, but it ultimately comes down to...

Terra Luna price predicted to go to $142.85 by 2022 according to Government Capital

Not really. I jumped in and bought a few million Luna tokens as it bounced off the bottom. My thoughts were that I would hold it for a few years and see if it ever recovered. I viewed it more as a lottery ticket than an investment. I felt really stupid once I learned that the overall float of...

Terra Luna price predicted to go to $142.85 by 2022 according to Government Capital

https://cryptonews.net/news/defi/3042661/ This article was written back in January before the collapse. Its predictions are laughable today. The total number of Luna tokens jumped from 340 million to 6.5 trillion. It's practically worthless now.

Did The West Promise Moscow That NATO Would Not Expand?

The US didn't promise not to expand NATO, but they did promise not to expand it into eastern Europe. That promise has been broken several times over the past few decades. That being said, the US claims they aren't bound by that promise since it was never formalized through a treaty...

Rams by 6 on the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati's offensive line has struggled at times this year. I expect Aaron Donald and LA's defensive line to make life tough for Joe Burrow. I'll be pulling for the Bengals, but I expect the Rams to win.

Its going to be Musk/Rogan tearing down the tech monopoly

Joe Rogan has a contract for over $100M with Spotify. His podcast is the most listened to on their platform. I don't see that relationship ending, because it's beneficial for both parties.

This Silicon Valley city just voted to institute first-in-the-nation gun ownership requirements

:D I guess we can argue about what "proper storage" actually means. I know a lot of people that keep a firearm within reach of their bed in case someone breaks into their house. The main issue I have is when someone leaves guns easily visible for thieves to steal. It blows my mind when people...

This Silicon Valley city just voted to institute first-in-the-nation gun ownership requirements

One thing that everyone can agree on is that gun owners should be responsible when they carry or store their firearms. Allowing children access to firearms is somewhat of a gray area. I spent my teenage years on a farm, and I had easy access to rifles whenever I wanted to go hunting or check...

This Silicon Valley city just voted to institute first-in-the-nation gun ownership requirements

That's a hard question to answer. I found Trump's "freedom of expression" to be both entertaining and embarrassing. His speeches made me laugh and cringe at the same time. I hope he doesn't run again in 2024. I do miss the memes though. Social media was funnier when he was in office. :D
