    OMX Swedish Index futures

There is a wide variety of options and futures linked to the OMX30. You can run websites like this through Google translate https://www.avanza.se/placera/forstasidan.html Lots of individual stock info on there as well. With more industrial mix I would say its more similar to the DAX. Several...

Are there Counties/Regions with 0% Capital Gain Tax Trading US Stocks and a Tax Treaty with US?

Yes. Options , mini futures, warrants, margin, all fine. Its not a tax free account. The tax is 0.375% of the account per year, but if you can make large gains the tax rate is very low.

    Sweden

Yes I would expect same in Sweden plus tend to be large nursing homes compared to neighbouring Norway and Finland. The old folks were not moving between them but workers were.

    Sweden

As an honest none politically correct answer. Its unskilled cheap work, doesn't require much training or need much if any language skills. There were waves of immigrants from Syria, Iraq and other places into Europe in recent years. Often ends up a choice of Uber or nursing homes..... and Uber...

    Sweden

Some of my observations from living in Sweden - Most of the earlier deaths were in nursing homes and often caused by the low paid health care workers bringing in the infection. Once there spreads like crazy. Such workers have very high proportion of recent immigrants who not having much...

50% of the Nasdaq 100 made up of just 6 stocks,

Don't disagree with the numbers you have here but they also assume Amazon keeps up the huge investments its making in AWS and other part of business to grow even bigger. If it stopped trying to dominate the world and cut such investments the PE drops a lot and its valuation looks more...

    Nuclear Power Balls

Thorium is a great fuel but Uranium is better since it already contains fissile U235. Th232 and U238 are fertile. If the world ever runs out of Uranium we could start using Thorium. Until then it is like running your car on expensive whiskey, sure its possible but much cheaper ways to do it...

What if the markets never crashes more than 50% again?

Ah we are there already. Just that "mobile phone" sounds better than state tracking device.

What if the markets never crashes more than 50% again?

Well its not really defying logic is it. Since governments trashed the economy by forcing everyone to stay home they have duty to print money for peoples salaries. Otherwise noone would stay home and obey. So in this crisis yeah the governments have peoples and at least large companies backs...

The Latest Coronavirus Data Are Out — and the Number of Infected People Keeps Growing

The real death rate can only be found out years later. Current death rate is high because testing is limited to those suspected of having it i.e. turned up sick at hospital. Random population testing is needed to find those affected who didn't go to hostpital. That will not be done until testing...

The Latest Coronavirus Data Are Out — and the Number of Infected People Keeps Growing

Assuming your from the US I suspect that you may have much worse to contend with in few weeks time. It's been spreading all around the US for weeks already but they have not been testing for it. Seems mainly due to incompetence and desire to keep cases low due to upcoming elections. No test = No...

If you want to get rich, spend 1/10th your income on a car..and "3/16 of your income on your rent"

As an engineer whilst it can be enjoyable doing some car maintenance, and yes they re terrible investments but once you have a decent income and investments there is no need to live like a monk in hairy clothes. Prefer to buy 2 years old and sell after 5 or 6 years. Sure I could save a few...

So I just bailed out of this market

Interesting to read through the views on this thread. Provoked my first post for few years. FWIW In main trading account I'm always long the main indexes it's just a question of to what extent. Normally ranges from x0.5 to x3 leverage. So neither all in or out. Near x0.8 now. Still very much...

Is This The End Of Tesla ?

Or maybe they knew not to enter the market heavily with EVs until they could make profit on them? I’m glad to see more EV choice. Tesla electric tech is good but so are others and hard to differentiate. Outside design is OK but getting a bit old now and needs updating. Always thought the...

Is This The End Of Tesla ?

EVs have potential but at the moment they are more expensive and take so long to charge. You can recharge hundreds of miles of ICE range in minutes across and the huge international recharging network otherwise know as petrol stations. In another decade maybe EVs will be better but not just now...

How much was your highest intraday trading profit?

Brings back a few memories. Didn’t make as much as those guys but you didn’t need inside info. Towards the end of European trading day their stock markets rallied very strongly, ‘remain’ was being priced in and some hedge fund had their own exit polls as voters left the polling stations. By...

    Just Buy The Dip

You may have to change the title of this thread because the two main dips this year didn't seem to get bought on the rebound strongly enough. How does it compare straight buy and hold of the SP500?

US Markets are too Easy to Trade. I am up over 139% ytd

Well I would definitely stay away from government bonds as rates rise but regarding the Fed model the correlation outside the US is poor. Even in US the 10 year rate seems a bit of data matching in it selection. Why 10, not 30 or 5 year ? Also doesn't say much about other assets like corporate...
