Hi Robert, thanks for the reply. I am actually familiar with Lightspeed already. The traders at my firm either use Takion or Lightspeed. However, I know of another Prop that uses Fusion and I am interested in how it works.

Great response. Being in Chicago, this "fairly reputable" firm sounds like Great Point Capital/Tower Hill Trading. The 57 is required by law. If you aren't taking it then move on. That place is a chop shop for new aspiring traders as yourself.

How about the difference when it comes to getting fills on larger positions? Or what about those of us who are skilled at trading a PnL? It's harder than you think to "psych" your mind out and it is certainly easier to lose money with the reduced buying power.
