all the consistent traders I have seen in ET use stat arb aka mean reversion strategies. classical momentum strategies that worked for decades don't work well enough to pay the bills.

do not be deceived, momentum trading is dead and buried ....best u can do is to break even over 1000's of trades.

I use a mechanical system to alert me of a potential trade and the rest is my own interpretation of P.A-damn I hate the word as its misused.

read all highly regarded T.A books and system development books note all the systems written are worthless junk to avoid.That era was a different kind of market. now start designing your own system using your knowledge of what doesn't work a.k.a T.A and systematic trendfollowing. target...

I bet you were doing arbitrage before ....which strategy are you going to use in fx? breakouts/ momentum strategies ain't working well coz of low volatility and mean reversion/cointegration just don't work in the long run coz fx is traded in pairs. fx market has the least edges of any market.

the silence of lescor is an omnious sign about how difficult it has become to daytrade going foward.Mean reversion is failing after a 10 year super run. just like bitcoin mining the markets are becoming exponentially harder to trade until its not worth the effort.
