Closed NFLX short yesterday as it didn't make a new low. Even using $180 as entry price and current price of $132...the profit from this trade have been epic! Closed half of RIMM short yesterday. Bought AAPL OTM Jan 2013 400C @$73.25 :D

Will close out NFLX short today if it doesn't make a new low before EOD. Can't be too greedy! Currently at $129.25

Debt ceiling was lifted; wow, that was a big surprise! I'm not sure what it was a big deal; this ceiling has been lifted over the past decades! One thing for certain, unless the US reverses its current spending habits, the USD will keep on making new lows. No signals for the past week...

I'm not familiar with think or swim. I use IB myself. I wouldn't recommend anyone to trade option unless they know what they are getting into. I've been at this for a while and I don't use it a lot. The gains certainly are spectacular (like the AAPL trade)...but it can also ruin you very...

Everyone is different depending on their risk tolerance/capital and trading plan. I use different option strategies and/or go short it outright. Put options for NFLX at this point (depending on your time horizon) isn't as attractive as it was a few weeks ago. I'm not familiar with ELGX.

Speaking about disciplines...or the lack of. My first big mistake. Entry was crappy as I didn't wait for it; exit was crappier with too tight of a stop. Even worse was trading a stock out of my watchlist...what was I thinking? Never again! $2100 loss...:mad: Bottom fishing ain't too...
