Deja vu?
In the weeks leading towards the August debt ceiling decision, the market barely flinched. It then began to sell off a few days prior and gathered steam after the debt ceiling was raised.
Was the debt ceiling to blame for the sell off or was that the usual Aug/Sep dip?

- Not sure what was the big deal. The US gov't can print all the money it could if it wishes to. If anything, inflation would be the issue. There was no way the ceiling wouldn't have been lifted.
On my "rebound indicator"; it is flashing a buy signal (<10); last time it did that was Mar 2009/Dec 2008/Sep 1998. Only crappy part is I look at it on a monthly basis and we are only a week into August. So, maybe premature to jump in right now...
