I'm not following you. Maybe I didn't word my question very well. I'm thinking that there must be ways to verify that R or S is holding before entering.

What is the way to increase accuracy?

I need some help in regards to determining if a level is holding or not in real time. Let's say that price is trading up toward a resistance level that I think will hold and I want to get short at that level. What are the things I should be looking for before entering short? Thanks for your help.

That's a good point. So when it comes to predicting the liklihood of deflation, you think that it would require a psychology change in Americans from spendthrift to saver?

For everybody on this thread who is convinced that the Fed won't allow deflation to occur because it's so destructive, tell me why Japan wasn't able to accomplish that? In other words, the Fed may be intent on preventing deflation but will they be able to? Japan wasn't able to.
