    TQQQ SEC Rule 201 (Up-Tick-Rule)?

Nevermind, it says the rule stays in effect for the rest of the day and the next day. So if it was activated yesterday, it persists today.

    TQQQ SEC Rule 201 (Up-Tick-Rule)?

Why is the SEC Rule 201 (Up-Tick-Rule) active on TQQQ today (25th May 2022 at 9:40am)? The TQQQ ETF did not drop over 10% today.

Retail broker account for people active professionally elsewhere?

Nope, no active licenses required since not US citizen, but have US retail broker accounts. Considering starting to trade a prop account for a firm, but gotta make sure to have all the other accounts in order once I start.

Retail broker account for people active professionally elsewhere?

Thank you for your answers everyone! Let's say the prop firm does not care if you have other accounts as well. Mostly, I am wondering if one legally has to pay professional data fees at the retail broker once one starts trading other people money somewhere else?

Retail broker account for people active professionally elsewhere?

Oh, wait, so you tried and they said no?

Retail broker account for people active professionally elsewhere?

Each January retail brokers ask you to fill out a form concerning whether you are a professional trader or not. One of the questions is: "Do you trade on behalf of anyone else?" Does this question refer to the activity inside the particular account under consideration, or in general? I mean...

Lightspeed Trader - understanding total trade execution costs?

Lightspeed lists $0.0045 as the entry level per share commission on an equities trade (https://www.lightspeed.com/pricing/commission/). Furthermore, they list e.g. $0.003 as the fee for taking liquidity from ARCA or NASDAQ (https://www.lightspeed.com/pricing/routing-fees/). Finally, there are...

Which small time-frame candlestick charts are available in Lightspeed Trader?

Does this mean that there is no market data subscription in Lightspeed required, when using esignal? Do the esignal charts display open position lines and order execution dots from Lightspeed?

Which small time-frame candlestick charts are available in Lightspeed Trader?

Does anyone know if Lightspeed Trader offers candlestick charts for the following time-frames? 1 second, 5 second, 10 second, 15 second, 30 second, 1 minute? I'm considering switching to that broker and platform and the small time-frame charts are an important consideration for me.

    Direct routed order execution comparison?

Thank you for the links! Is the SMART routing option on DAS or Sterling trader doing that route calculation most efficiently? I imagine brokers like IB (who, per business model, take trades against you and fudge your fills) would not put in the effort of providing the best fills, but I wonder...

    Direct routed order execution comparison?

No, I don't want zero commissions. In fact, IB charges 0.003 per share on directed orders, and gives you rebates if you provide liquidity instead of taking it. I am rather interested in reducing slippage on entries and exits.

    Direct routed order execution comparison?

That's interesting! TWS lets me direct route to ISLAND, which is where I got it from. I'm not opposed to studying for half a year, haha. If you could tell me where to find the information?

    Direct routed order execution comparison?

Thanks for your replies! I was thinking more along the lines of daytrading with up to a few thousand shares, and sending direct routed orders e.g. to ISLAND to buy at the ask and sell at the bid (if ISLAND is not the one with best price, they route it further if I understand correctly). So if...

    Direct routed order execution comparison?

Platforms such as DAS Trader or Sterling Trader are well known for their superior order execution capabilities. I'm curious how their order executions compare to direct routed orders executed by TWS of Interactive Brokers? Is there any advantage in linking DAS or Sterling with IB for execution...

Make the background in a new TWS tab transparent?

Not aware of any platform like that to be honest. But it seems like such an easy thing to implement, so I was wondering if IB TWS has that setting hidden somewhere. The dark grey standard background color in new tabs has to be encoded somewhere in the files, right? So maybe one can change the...

Make the background in a new TWS tab transparent?

I'd like to place the window of a different program behind the main TWS window and still see the other program. Is it possible to make the background color in a new TWS tab transparent? If so, where do I find this setting?
