can someone explain what is happening in the 10 yr futures today? From my understanding, we rallied yesterday because of supply inbalances and possibly from funds unwinding GM debt. But why would things totally reverse today? Someone help a brother out here.

Can someone give a brief explanation of what happened with LTCM? What positions did they have on? What was the risk to the market as a result of it? Etc. Thanks

In my opinion, the equity options died somewhere around 2000. Dual listing, payment for order flow, decimilization (to some extent) and the tech bubble bursting all made it a tough environment to make money. I would love to work at a hedge fund. But from what I hear it is very selective...
