Sterling sucked the last couple weeks yes, at the worst times possible. Nothing new from 2008 though. The newest version lets you switch servers manually. Helped a bit but many times none of them worked.

I would just call Derek's cell for any info you need as he is still available to talk to. I traded through Everest for a short period of time, and decided to leave when I learned about the issues with the company. I can't comment on what happened because I am not entirely sure of the details...

I second the suggestion that you join a prop firm. You'll get their leverage, better commisions and access to other traders (if you pick a good one). Don't worry about giving away a cut of your profits. That won't matter for a long time.

I think its fine to brag about your trades as long as you aren't talking numbers or share size. I tell my family about my trading bc they've watched me struggle and grow with it throughout the years, and they are always interested even if they probably don't understand what I'm talking about...

Ditto Jnbadger...so much easier and faster than using the tab key. Just make sure the new symbol is always typed in before hitting the enter key when changing stock windows...I've found myself in several trades I didnt want to be in this way.
