Where is the right place seeking funds for trading?

No problem in searching for investors' capital after you have an established trading strategy, but all you've got are 2 months worth of demo. In this case the only reason an investor would look at you is to have a good laugh.;)

    Fundseeder. Opinions? Useful/Not. Risk?

I remember a couple of years back when I first heard of this project, Jack Schwager was talking about it in a video on YouTube. Back then the team was made of the same guys from the failed Rapacap. Just thought to myself, why would Schwager associate himself with these dubious guys (just look up...

Proprietary Trading MSc, in partnership with Futex: Trading education disguised as a masters degree?

That degree is not even useful to wipe one's ass with. I invite the representatives of futex to prove me wrong on that, with facts, not sweet talk. It looks like a joint venture between futex and the university to skin suckers - those naive enough to buy into the 'real career opportunities'...

    Dan Zanger talking shop

I too wonder why the boys who hit the jackpot in the late nineties don't show their current performance. I think I read in an interview that Zanger was down some 20% in 2008 - at least he didn't hide it, although it's not front page news as the results from `98-00 are.

*EXPERIENCED DAY TRADERS*how would you recommend starting out as a trader?

All I can recommend is that you don't spend a dime of that 5k on courses/DVDs/penny stocks alerts and all the assorted crap. The guys behind them are professional dream sellers, and you sound like the perfect candidate. To be forewarned is to be forearmed ;)

Who is the best forex signal provider in the market ?

Don't go for unregulated/scammy/get-rich-quick PAMMs or forex signals. Have a look at Darwinex, an UK regulated broker with asset management license. You can invest in their best traders via a standardized product called DARWIN, which is similar to an ETF.

Why do most retail forex folks lose money?

2 main reasons as far as I'm concerned: get rich quick mentality, similar to penny stock traders - I'd bet the failure rates are similar. Very low entry-barrier: when you can open a forex account with $100 what do you expect ?:D

Are there any millionaire traders who started undercapitalized?

Richard Dennis started with some $400 and then became 'king of the pits' and multimillionaire. Dan Zanger parlayed some $10k into $18M in the late nineties. I believe cases like these are exceptional, on par with winning a lottery.

Are there any millionaire traders who started undercapitalized?

Most of the traders profiled in Market Wizards started under capitalized.

Paying for a mentor vs. Elite Trader Forum

There are several posts with charts where the rationale behind entries and exits is explained. He's a discretionary trader who combines classical charts patterns with price action (not the usual simplistic stuff aka here's a pin bar, buy buy buy :)) and elements of trend following.

Paying for a mentor vs. Elite Trader Forum

I went for the 3 months package at a total of 1500 Euros. I can't believe it's this cheap (I guess because he just started mentoring) and I have two comparison points for saying this: 1. Those weekend seminars held by traders, not trading companies (those are scams anyway) that run up to 4-5k...

Why is Jesse Livermore a respected trader given his track record of blowing up?

It just dawned on me, the great Richard Dennis blew up big style a couple of times (late eighties, and late nineties, it's documented in Covel's book) yet he's still considered one of the all time greatest trend followers

Paying for a mentor vs. Elite Trader Forum

I just started mentoring with Vlad from http://www.jltrader.com/mentoring/ (I've been a follower of his website for some time). Let's see how it goes.

Why is Jesse Livermore a respected trader given his track record of blowing up?

Because he was among the first to articulate what trading is all about. And because he made a lot of money several times, at moments when most others were losing their shirt.

There are plenty of regulated brokers in respected jurisdictions like UK or US catering to retail forex traders. Why would you say it's a scam ?
