Jeez. What's with the bickering here? Everyone a bit on edge with all this volatility? :) Don't forget to blow off some steam in between the trading and computer time. Go to the gym. Get laid. Take a drink. Whatever it takes. :D

    The sign of the times

I wonder if I should ask that guy who he feels now...? He was not very cocky though, so maybe I'll leave him be. But I have a few cocky longs in my social circle who loves boasting about their stock market gains. I heard comments as late as early last week. I'm silently enjoying things at this...

Any real reasons left to go with a desktop / tower over a laptop? (Faster / more powerful perhaps?)

Nice. I want overkill, though. :) That's a self-build, right? Any readily available commercial options or is it worth building one yourself? I don't think I can order from Amazon (European resident), but I will find the same stuff in my country.

Any real reasons left to go with a desktop / tower over a laptop? (Faster / more powerful perhaps?)

Any specific recommendations for one? I'm thinking I'll be getting a stationary now. I'll keep my laptop for back-up and 'out of house' work.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

The less likely scenario actually unfolded, i.e., August 2015. If that pattern repeats itself - we should see a strong day up tomorrow. The last time before that we had this same pattern was in October 2008. The 4th day following that was another huge day down (-6,40 %). Playing the odds and...

Open gap at 3090,75 which also happen to be 1 % down. This market is weak as f**k with the TICK hitting low readings. I think we'll drop even further even if it's 'improbable'. The only hope is that NQ is still putting in a higher low relative to yesterday. But I won't hold my breath.

Making JH' SCT and all his material alive

I would not ask you to do that as you have not made any claims, nor tried to mentor anyone else. I even communicated briefly with Jack earlier (not in private) on ET, but never asked him any proof. I would not mind if you at least told us if you were profitable or not when you eventually go...

Predictable bounce at unchanged. No gap fill on NQ yet, so we may very well see another thrust down from here.

3127,75 or the final barrier at 3117,50 needs to hold. If not - brace yourselves.

Could always find support at 3142 or at the current LOD at 38,75 - but the market is heavy now with very negative tick readings. No strength on NQ either.

Intraday H&S. Wouldn't be surprised to see us trade down to close the gap at 3127.75 if 3160 does not hold.

Thanks. I won't push the matter further, but let's just say I agree with what a few of the posters on that page said. With the huge volume of posts and claims throughout the years - many of them during market hours - it is a bit odd that there never was any demonstration of actual trades...

While we may have put in a bottom - there's nothing normal here yet.

Okay. Just know that I'm rooting for you and am in no way saying it's not possible. I just know all to well myself how easy it is to log a day or annotate a dead chart versus actually trading the live chart with real money on the line. It can be compared to walking a tight-rope elevated a feet...

Making JH' SCT and all his material alive

I've been at this for 10 years myself. I know that everything I'm using and looking at is extremely complex for someone from the outside world. Even for someone in the world of trading. Still, live trading is where the rubber meets the road. Have you traded live in the past?

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Prior to yesterday's Open I called for yesterday closing positively and with the main move being up. I did this because the opposite, i.e., two strong days in a row have happened so rarely - particularly in recent history. That turned out to be wrong. If, however, the rarely keeps happening...

Your studies sure are complex and I have to say I'm curiously intrigued by these teachings of Hershey. However, I have to admit that I'm a bit skeptic with regards to actual applicability in a live, moving market with real $$$ on the line? Any ideas on that? How do you expect to tie all this...

Any real reasons left to go with a desktop / tower over a laptop? (Faster / more powerful perhaps?)

My laptop is quite like a bird now, but the fan was running at a relatively high velocity for most of yesterday's trading session. The afternoon, that is. Also, I got a message from Excel that it couldn't open a workbook because of insufficient memory available. This has not been a common...

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Well - if you have a daily bar then - consisting of 390 minutes opening at the top and closing at the bottom. How can you tell anything about the volatility within that day other than to say the range is small or large? It could be a clean drop from Open to Close or it can be a day with huge...
