    Boredom

I trade of volume and range charts, since fixed time bars distort price action. That is why i need to be alert all the time, the signal can happen any time.

Not following you. I actually recommend these 2 markets.

    Boredom

If I have new ideas, I do not test them during market hours because I trade. Looking at something else will definitely make me missing even more trades. I need to figure out how to not loose concentration while waiting for a long time (1 hour or more) for a trade.

    Boredom

Boredom is my biggest issue right now, and it costs me a bundle. I was burnt too many times not to rush in trades, so this is not an issue at all. Sometimes, I can get 5 or more signals an hour and it is easy, but when i have to wait for an hour or few hours for a trade, I just loose...

KOSPI 200 options for U.S. customers, what is the status?

I am not sure since I do not trade options, but I think the reason is that they have European settlement and that is why we are not allowed to trade them.

Best markets to trade for 9-5'ers

I have traded DAX for some time, until early this year. South Korea KOSPI futures were recently ( end of 08) allowed to be traded by CFTC. Kospi start trading at 7pm EST, the book is thick, you can trade size, the tick value is high.

Reasons for Why you need multiple accounts, multiple IPs, and multiple brokers

And I thought that I have seen it all on ET over the years. But trying to avoid MM games that are played in real market while trading sim is something else. If OP meant this thread as joke, have to say I had a good laugh.

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

If this tax ever sees the light of the day in US and Europe, there still will be few places, in the world that will not abide by it, and the business will shift there. Places like SGX, HKFE, KSE or DME will reap huge rewards. Our solution will be to open offshore corporate account (this does...

Faber: Gold won't drop below $1000 per ounce again, ever

I remember T. Boone Pickens saying that we will never see oil below 100 in our life times, when it was around 130 I think. There are always tons of very smart people having very strong arguments why asset prices will not drop. The last wave of the bubble is parabolic move up, why so many...

"I Will Crush Elite Trader"-- Tim Sykes

What else can he do? He obviously can no longer trade, so gotta find other income streams. Nothing is wrong with launching a site of course. Tim best of luck.

    Trader's International Scam????

Gentlmen, anyone who decides to pay thousands for something that has been "tested" on simulation, deserves exactly what he pays for. Fools and his money are to be parted eventually, and TI just helps this transition.

Michael Moore Kills Capitalism With Kool-Aid

He did, but in the society where 10% enojoy their rights, and 90% no matter what they do are left behind, bad things happen eventually - revolutions. The state needs to be involved, otherwise the above situation will eventually take place. However, the trick is to find the right balance, no clue...

    Trader's International Scam????

They are liars and cheats. Few years back they were advertising their head trader Franz Sohar and claimed he averaged 100k a day. As it turned out Franz was trading on simultor. He was stupid enough to show his x trader Dom, but when he entered the trades with large size, they never showed up on...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

Not really relevant for this topic, but can someone please explain to me why they even talking about paying deficit with TARP money? Is it not just taking money from one bucket and putting it to another one?

If you don't read Fooled by Randomness and The Black Swan, you'll be a naive trader?

I read both of his books. black Swan immediately after it came out. There are very few people who would be able to generate any $ based on what he wrote. The books were lots of fun to read and definitely open your eyes, but it does not mean you can make $ of his ideas. Taleb experienced...

Retail Currency Brokers Earn 'Near-Certain' Returns Trading Against Their Own Clients

This is nothing new. My first entry into trading was via forex. It did not take too long to figure this out. Retail forex brokers are bucket shops. That being said, it does not mean you can not make money trading via them. Do not trade nfp and the like, do not use tight real stops (use mental...

    Interactive Brokes - Pairs Charting

Hi Maestro, I tried to create a combo on K200 and this option was not there. It is present on ES for example. Does it mean that K200 is not supported for combos? or do I need to turn some feature on? Thanks, redduke
